| R.W. Setterlin Building Company is a family owned commercial construction company that provides outstanding construction services throughout central and southeastern Ohio. The tradition began in 1935, when Robert W. Setterlin Sr. founded Robert W. Setterlin & Sons. For four generations, we've been providing award-winning construction services that have had a lasting impact on our clients and our community. Historical Timeline
1930s: Robert W. Setterlin & Sons Co., formed by Robert W. Setterlin, Sr. started by completing numerous school projects throughout Ohio. 1940s: Completed projects related to the United States Defense, such as Armstrong Furnace Foundry Company in Jackson, Ohio. 1950s: Ohio School for the Deaf, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Upper Arlington High School and many other schools around central Ohio. 1960s: The unique Ohio Historical Society Building and the expansion of Capital University, including the dedication of Setterlin Hall. 1970s: Completed many projects for the expansion of Ohio State University, Grange Insurance Headquarters, and Franklin County Hall of Justice. 1980s: The Limited, Inc. Distribution Centers I, II and III; Headquarters Building and Shipping Facility. Many projects for the White Castle Company. 1990s: Franklin Park Conservatory for Ameriflora, the new North Market, Ohio State Medical Association Headquarters and the Ohio University Grover Center. 2000s: Worthington Christian Church expansion, various projects with Ohio University, Columbus Zoo, Columbus Airport and over $100 million in school construction.
